The European Commission's Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR) has included BMTI in the List of Mandated Bodies, which are public equivalent bodies that can participate in the actions funded by the European Union through the Twinning instrument, to build up the capacities of beneficiary countries' public administrations.
BMTI is available to start an information exchange and first activities of technical assistance with the institutions of foreign countries: on one hand to enhance and foster the Italian Chambers of Commerce’s trading model and its own competencies, on the other with the goal to develop stronger relationships which would represent the basis to work together with these institutions, for an international economic system that is inclusive and sustainable.
